Mother's Day Afternoon Tea Package

As an event supplier, 2021 is following the pattern of 2020 with a distinct lack of bookings due to Covid! However, I’ve teamed up with two other local event suppliers to bring to you the Mother’s Day afternoon tea package, delivered to your door. The package includes home made afternoon tea by The Mug Tree; a café and caterer in East Grinstead, beautiful vintage crockery, cutlery and napkins by myself and gorgeous hand wrapped spring florals by Arabella Floral Design, who like myself would normally be suppling weddings and events.

The afternoon tea package is a perfect way to treat your mum. If you are a family and want to spoil your mum with this lovely treat it’s the perfect way to give her the day off. If you can’t be with your mum this Mother’s Day, why not have the package delivered to her – spoil her from a distance to keep everyone safe.

How to Book

To order your Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Package, click here to request the booking form or give me a call on 07919 280372. These are the steps involved in the booking process…

How many place settings do you need? This will include all of the crockery (including cake stands & teapots), cutlery and napkins required, plus the most important part where I also take care of the washing up. The vintage tableware hire element is £15 / person which also covers the delivery and collection.
Do you have any dietary requirements the caterers need to consider? If so, do let us know. The afternoon tea will include a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade scones with jam and clotted cream, plus a selection of cakes and treats. Afternoon teas are priced at £16 / person.
Would you like to add a bunch of spring flowers to the order? These are hand wrapped by Arabella Floral, of Ashurst Wood and will be a seasonal mix. You can add either a regular size bunch for £12 or a larger bunch for £20.
Once you are happy with your order form and I have confirmed availability, I will be in touch with the payment details and to arrange the delivery time. The Vintage Flair stock is provided as a hire service and will be collected at an agreed time (this can be the following day so you don’t have to rush to pack it away).

As a wedding and event supplier my business has been hit hard due to Covid, however I’m in a very fortunate position in that my husband still has his income and we will get by ok. I know many wedding suppliers who have lost everything and are in a far worse situation than me, many relying on the local food banks to help. I will be donating 10% of my profits to the East Grinstead Food Bank to help support those, who through no fault of their own, rely on this valuable service.

The Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Package is limited to deliveries in the East Grinstead area (including Forest Row, Ashurst Wood, Crawley Down, Dormans Park and Felbridge) as we are still in a lockdown situation. Covid safe deliveries will be made to doorsteps at a pre-arranged time.

The deadline for orders is Friday 5th March to allow the caterer and florist time to get their supplies ready. We are three small, independent businesses so please do book early to avoid disappointment as the number of Mothers Day Afternoon Tea Packages going out will be limited.
