As an event supplier, 2021 is following the pattern of 2020 with a distinct lack of bookings due to Covid! However, I’ve teamed up with two other local event suppliers to bring to you the Mother’s Day afternoon tea package, delivered to your door. The package includes home made afternoon tea by The Mug Tree; a café and caterer in East Grinstead, beautiful vintage crockery, cutlery and napkins by myself and gorgeous hand wrapped spring florals by Arabella Floral Design, who like myself would normally be suppling weddings and events.Read more

The quality of my vintage tea hire service is by far one of the main stand out features of Vintage Flair. I’ve worked exceptionally hard over the past 10 years to build a collection of high quality vintage tea sets and I’d like to explain, how and why, this reflects in the price I charge.
Vintage Chateau Wedding at Chateau la Durantie
I was delighted to receive the beautiful mood board and brief from Helaina Storey last year, asking if I would like to supply one of her wedding this summer. A vintage chateau wedding in France requiring a vintage tea station and full dinner service sounded fantastic and the colour scheme requested being pastel shades of blue and pink. It sounded perfect and now the official photos are here I can show you just how perfect it looked. I’m sure you will agree that Ceri & Dave looked amazing and it truly was the most beautiful wedding set up by Helaina Storey Wedding Design. As told by the bride; here is Ceri’s wedding feature.
So many tea parties…
Spring is usually a bit of a warm up to summer…a few tea parties and weddings before the main season kicks off in June, however this year has been a bit different. I’ve had more enquiries for tea parties than I could supply, so I’ve decided to focus Vintage Flair on luxury tea party celebrations and I’ve set up a new business called Harriet’s Table for wedding tables with a boho influence. I found my business was being pulled in two directions so this seemed the logical split.
Last summer I was invited by the talented Lily Sawyer to supply a styled shoot in West Ham Park, London. Lily is a fantastic urban wedding photographer who has such an eye for detail and a wonderfully creative mind. The styled shoot was based on Modern Vintage with white simplicity and a relaxed urban garden setting, while being affordable. Lilly put together the perfect team for this style and the full write up can be seen over on Lilly’s blog Lily Sawyer Blog.
This incredible maximalist floral shoot featuring my vintage crockery has been featured on the Magpie Wedding blog. Created by the lovely and very talented Lily Sawyer Photography this styled shoot is full of inspiration for creative couples planning a maximum floral wedding. The combination of vintage fine bone china styled in a modern setting works wonderfully. Styled by the creative Johanna Valeur, the contrast of the pink sequins against the gold gilt vintage china plates works wonderfully. Such a great explosion of colour from every aspect and an abundance of greenery to balance it out. Read more

“I was never the typical girl who dreamt of a big white wedding as a child so, when David proposed and we started talking about the kind of wedding we would like, it became clear very quickly that we had two totally different ideas in our minds! Whilst I wanted a very small affair, perhaps at a National Trust property and a small dinner after the ceremony, David wanted to do it on a larger scale. It took some getting used to the idea, as I’m not really someone who likes to be in the centre of everything, but once I’d thought about how I could put my personality stamp on the day, I could already see how the day might look”.
