Vintage china hire East grinstead

As an event supplier, 2021 is following the pattern of 2020 with a distinct lack of bookings due to Covid! However, I’ve teamed up with two other local event suppliers to bring to you the Mother’s Day afternoon tea package, delivered to your door. Vintage Chateau Wedding at Chateau la Durantie

I was delighted to receive the beautiful mood board and brief from Helaina Storey last year, asking if I would like to supply one of her wedding this summer. A vintage chateau wedding in France requiring a vintage tea station and full dinner service sounded fantastic and the colour scheme requested being pastel shades of blue and pink. So many tea parties…

Spring is usually a bit of a warm up to summer…a few tea parties and weddings before the main season kicks off in June, however this year has been a bit different. I’ve had more enquiries for tea parties than I could supply, so I’ve decided to focus Vintage Flair on luxury tea party celebrations and I’ve set up a new business called Harriet’s Table for wedding tables with a boho influence. I found my business was being pulled in two directions so this seemed the logical split.

“I was never the typical girl who dreamt of a big white wedding as a child so, when David proposed and we started talking about the kind of wedding we would like, it became clear very quickly that we had two totally different ideas in our minds! Whilst I wanted a very small affair, perhaps at a National Trust property  and a small dinner after the ceremony, David wanted to do it on a larger scale. It took some getting used to the idea, as I’m not really someone who likes to be in the centre of everything, but once I’d thought about how I could put my personality stamp on the day, I could already see how the day might look”.  Read more
