Last summer I was invited by the talented Lily Sawyer to supply a styled shoot in West Ham Park, London. Lily is a fantastic urban wedding photographer who has such an eye for detail and a wonderfully creative mind. The styled shoot was based on Modern Vintage with white simplicity and a relaxed urban garden setting, while being affordable. Before meeting Rachel, we knew her wedding was going to be impressively creative due to seeing the talent in her dressmaking hobby, house of pinheiro . These images show the result of Rachel and Dan’s planning to bring Rachel’s Brazilian traditions to an English country house in Kent. We receive numerous requests to supply wedding industry photo shoots and this made us realise it was about time we did our own! It didn’t take long to decide on the theme as Easter was just around the corner and our own gardens were beginning to spring to life. Easter Vintage Glamour was decided upon – with a focus on gold and Chanel pink; Elizabeth’s favourite lipstick! We first met Laura and Graeme in January for their consultation. From our meeting we knew their wedding would be one to remember and we weren’t wrong! Following a traditional church service, Laura and Graeme held their reception at the stunning Marle Place, Bretchley in Kent. On the morning of their wedding our fingers were crossed for Laura and Graeme as the weather forecast did not look good and having seen the amazing venue the day before, they needed the sun to be shinning to be able to enjoy the wonderful grounds and gardens.
